From Kannagi: Crazy Shrine Maidens - this one is based on that anime that which is based on a manga series. It's about an art student named Jin Mikuriya who carved out a statue from a piece wood that was given to him by a friend. Lucky for him the wood wasn't any ordinary wood, it once was part of a sacred tree in one of the old shrines. When the statue was finished, a girl named Nagi came out of it, she was the goddess of the sacred tree. Jin and her get together to fight the evil around their city.
